Files you convert

When you choose or drop a file, your browser reads it and converts it with JavaScript running on this page. The file and its contents (transactions, amounts, account numbers) are not uploaded, stored or logged by us or anyone else. The output file is created in your browser and saved straight to your device. Closing the tab clears it from memory.

Every page carries a Content-Security-Policy (a browser-enforced rule) that only allows connections to this website and to Google Apps Script (which receives the waitlist form and the anonymous usage events described below). The converter itself makes no network requests with your data. You can confirm in your browser's developer tools (Network tab) that no request contains your data.

To make the next conversion quicker, your browser remembers your output settings (format, account type, currency and bank ID) in local storage on your device. It never stores account numbers or file contents. You can clear it any time by clearing site data.

Waitlist

If you join the waitlist we collect your email address, the software you use, and optionally your bank/country and preferred plan. They are stored in a private Google Sheet (Google LLC; data may be processed outside the EU, including in the United States, under Google's standard contractual clauses). We use them only to tell you about Rowbridge Pro and to ask a few product questions. We never sell or share them. You can ask us to delete your entry at any time, and every email we send will include a way to unsubscribe.

Legal basis (GDPR): your consent, given by submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time.

Hosting and logs

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.), which may process technical data such as IP addresses in server logs for security and delivery. See GitHub's privacy statement.

Analytics

We count page views and anonymous usage events (for example "a file was converted", "the 30-row limit was reached"). Each event records only the event name, the page, the referring site and a random ID that lasts for one browser tab. No cookies, no IP address, no file contents, file names, amounts or descriptions. These events are stored in the same private Google Sheet.

Cookies

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
